THE PROGRAMME
Co-hosted by Jamie Boag, Team Director of Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing, the programme is inspired by real life challenges the team faced during their winning campaign of the Volvo Ocean Race, and the learnings derived from their two prior attempts.
THE PROGRAMME RUNS AS A
FULL-DAY OR HALF DAY EXPERIENCE
Comprising of a series of interactive modules, participants will experience a simulation of managing a racing team, learning how to:
Assemble a winning team
Sustain a winning team
Operate successfully within a winning team
Lead in an ever-changing environment
Significantly, participants will gain an understanding of the success secrets of high performing teams based on real life learnings and how to apply them to business situations.

JAMIE BOAG
Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing Team Director
Jamie Boag was the Team Director of Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing for three Volvo Ocean Race campaigns, winning the entire race in 2014-2015, and was also the CEO for the Galway Volvo Ocean Race stopover in 2008-2009.
He is a racing sailor of international repute competing in the major regattas around the world.
Jamie has 25 years’ commercial experience gained through running the family aviation business and working in finance, and has successfully worked on sourcing and negotiating sponsorship and government contracts worth over US$100m.
